EGS Manitoba
The EGS Manitoba, a database application system that has been designed and implemented for all Manitoba's Watershed Districts to use to manage information related to local producers/landowners and the implementation of local. conservation and restoration projects.
The EGS Manitoba is developed by Planning Intelligence Group Inc. in conjunction with the Manitoba Habitat Conservancy (MHC) and the Manitoba Association of Watershed (MAW),
MHC has opted to use the EGS Manitoba for reporting progress and implementation status of the Conservation and GROW trusts in Manitoba.
MAW has opted to use the EGS Manitoba to keep track of all applications, funding, documents, and information related to Prairie Watershed Climate Program (PWC). It is intended to help Watershed Districts, the Saskatchewan Association of Watersheds (SAW), and the Manitoba Association of Watersheds (MAW) to streamline reporting to AAFC.
This User Guide has been written and prepared by MHC and MAW to support the Conservation and Grow Trust Program and PWCP. Some functions are just descriptive in this tutorial, but the user can find multiple alternatives in the database depending on the BMPs and features selected for each project.
